Bannatyne become Premier Percussion Marching Partner Centre
Premier are pleased to announce the appointment of Bannatyne Ltd., renowned manufacturer of pipe bags, moisture control systems, reeds and accessories, as a specialist Marching Partner Centre to serve pipe band and marching band customers in Scotland and beyond.
Proprietor Craig Bannatyne started in 1999 by developing the first ever Hide Zipper Bag and Water Tube Bottle Trap. Craig then moved into his own premises, designing his own range of Bannatyne pipe bags and moisture control devices. The revolutionary Bannatyne Hide Zipper Bag, a bag that right now is the choice of synthetic pipe bags. The business and product range has continued to grow year on year and Bannatyne Pipe Bags and Piping Supplies now employs twelve people at its West Lothian premises. Bannatyne already supplies their products to many of the world’s top bands, soloists and to the trade and is now set to expand considerably by offering Premier’s marching drums and accessories to its customers. Offering trade sales alongside its retail premises and an online store, Bannatyne is building a strong inventory of Premier products so that from the middle of 2011 delivery can be offered from stock on the complete range of pipe band and marching band products.
"We appreciate that not everyone wants to shop online, some people prefer the human interaction, product advice, to feel and touch the products they are going to buy and of course to try them out. We are delighted to also announce our own retail store is now open at our premises in Whitburn, ideally located for West Lothian and only 30 minutes from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling" advises Gary Nimmo, Sales & Marketing Manager at Bannatyne Ltd. "All the same products that are in our online store are available at our shop store for the same prices and we accept credit and debit cards in store. We will also be pro-actively supporting other retailers by offering very competitive trade prices and swift delivery from our own inventory, as well as built to order drums from the Premier factory."
